Broward College reached a point where they wanted to examine their marketing efforts and how they leveraged digital media to communicate with prospective and current students. Before jumping into a new strategy, the College’s executive leadership wanted to understand the student experiences during recruitment and onboarding. The executive team wanted to ensure that the structure of the marketing and enrollment teams lent itself to efficient communications that were personal, timely and relevant for students going through the recruitment and enrollment process at Broward College. They engaged Swim in a Secret Student exercise and asked for recommendations on the restructure of their marketing and recruiting departments. Through these efforts, Swim worked with the newly developed teams to create recruiting and marketing teams to develop communications plans for implementation, as well as various large-scale digital marketing implementations collegewide.
